Profile
A downhill vibe isn’t a bad thing at this urban chalet, where patrons weather flurries of snow bunnies and the thudding beats of nightly DJs. Singles hobnob in the dim warmth of the rustic front lounge, with raw wood, birch tree murals, and Lucite deer heads, while avalanche-sized get-togethers gather round the roaring, copper-hooded fire in the snow-white dining room. The American West-inspired small plate menu is beside the point for most who instead imbibe bone-warming specialty drinks like the Hottentot, Scotch infused with orange zest, coffee, and cloves, or refreshers like the Shooting Star, a starfruit capirhana. Bland tuna tartare and bean empanadas with black beans and queso blanco lack dazzle. Schuss in for the cocktails and the scene; snacks take third place.
NoteLounge is open from 5pm to roughly 4am from Monday to Saturday.
