Profile
The D&D Building's unofficial commissary has a stellar view, a menu devised by Charlie Palmer, and is open to the public for lunch only. Try grilled salmon niçoise, purée of wild mushrooms, and the Astra Blast—a dressed-to-kill BLT.
WeddingsBy day, Astra is a bustling café, but at night it can hold an intimate wedding featuring the cuisine of chef Charlie Palmer. Windows running along the north and east walls offer clear views over the lights of Manhattan to the Queensboro Bridge. Astra can host 140 guests without dancing (120 with) and 300 for cocktails.
