Much like the Park Slope stores from the forties and fifties featured in the black-and-white photos on the walls, this pristine bagel shop is already something of an institution, even though it has only been around since 2006. Early risers choose from the traditional assortment of fresh, hand-rolled bagels with perfectly firm skins and chewy, dense insides. On offer are twelve spreads, from jalapeño to olive-flecked cream cheese. But patrons are just as likely to drop in for lunch and grab a seat at one of three round tables or along the window counter. There’s an extensive list of wraps and hot sandwiches, such as the Philly cheesesteak, a bacon and BBQ–sauce-laden turkey melt, tuna fish, and grilled vegetables. Breakfast options include staples like French toast, pancakes, and egg-infused wraps served all day.Recommended Dishes
