Profile
With a fun canine theme that includes doggy watering fountains outside, these comfort-food eateries appeal to the stroller set as well as to older kids. The mostly American menu of salads, sandwiches, and comfort dishes like meat loaf and pot roast offers a few British staples such as fish and chips and shepherd’s pie. Beware: Weekend brunch lines stretch around the corner. — Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld

Last night I ordered delivery from this restaurant. About 45 minutes later, I had not yet received my order so I called back to check. The girl who answered tersely responded that my order was being delivered and it should be there any minute. HALF AN HOUR later I got a call from who I had hoped would (finally) be the delivery person but it was the girl who took my order. She scolded me saying that the delivery person had called my phone three times and had returned to the restaurant. I had received 0 calls. I told the girl this information and she still insisted that they called me. I said thanks but no thanks and cancelled the order. I understand that a big mess up happens once in a while, but to be rude and challenge the customer about it on top of the mistake? Unacceptable.
Conveniently located near my home, I thought that I should give this place a try. Great food. Good prices. We brunched with a friend and his son. Very family friendly. The breakfasts are HUGE and the salads are amazing. Give this location a try if you are in the neighborhood.
