Almost as soon as it opened, this place was embraced by the neighborhood. We like the mixed-green salad with blue cheese, pecans, and sun-dried cranberries. Saul Bolton, one of the best chefs working on trendy Smith Street (he owns Saul, a few storefronts to the south), bought Boerum Hill, and has added duck confit and Gorilla coffee to the menu. — Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld

We Travel from Manhattan for This Place

My girlfriends and I have been here three times. Once, the service wasn't great and they were out of their usually awesome scones and mashed potatoes. But, in general, travel for the clever comfort food and hang around the cute neighborhood to walk off the calories.
