The lowdown
This French restaurant is all about the meats. In addition to the regular dining room, there’s an open-kitchen area with a wood-fired grill. The dining room is thronged with out-of-towners and McNally-esque vibes, and former Pastis chef de cuisine Jerome Dihui flips (of course) pricey Pat LaFrieda beef, which is served rosy pink, with roughed-up fries, and cooks other traditional dishes like cassoulet.
