Can a pizza man change your life? A debatable question, but the snappy behind-the-counter patter of the tattooed, fast-moving pizza guys at Brother's can at the very least change your mood for the better. Most importantly, so can their pizza. From six big, shiny ovens come a panoply of pies—standard, pan, Sicilian, and the all-bow-down-to Grandma, a thin-crusted, crunchy pie topped with fresh basil, mozzarella, and a perfect marinara that stuns diners into reverential silence upon a single bite. (Either that, or they're minding their table manners, with happily full mouths.) Grab a slice from the counter, or try a ricotta-filled, sausage-and-pepperoni stromboli cased in a golden crust. Ogle the first-prize pizza-tossing medals on your way into the windowed, no-nonsense twenty-seat dining area to watch whatever sports game happens to be on the TV. Not your favorite team? No problem. The fact that old-fashioned pizza joints like this one make it through another season is reason itself to cheer.
Recommended DishesStromboli roll, $5.50; Grandma slice, $2.25; rice balls, 3 for $2
