Don't piss off the chef!

My sister ordered a well done skirt steak, it arrived a little bloody. Mistakes happen though, right? She politely sent it back. It was re-served to her, burnt to a crisp, obviously in retaliation for sending the steak back. Upon complaining, the manger was defensive and only took it off the bill after telling me he was having a hard day and did not want to argue about it. We cancelled our dessert orders and asked for the check. As we are leaving, the server comes over with a cake, presumably the one we had ordered for my older sister's birthday. She said it was on the house. The busser then tells my sister, I’m here Monday through Thursday, the next time you come here, I give you a free entree” Too little too late, I say. Both offers should’ve come from the manager not the embarrassed wait staff, trying to make up for the poor customer service offered by said manager.

The food is amazing and so is the staff. My personal favorite was their scallop appetizer, which was cooked to perfection. The prices, even though high for the neighborhood, are not really expensive. I am very pleased with this restaurant and am looking forward to eating there many more times.
