Upon first glance, this corner bar appears to be nothing more than a local watering hole, however its flat screens, brews, retro cocktail list, and top-shelf liquors make it a great place to drink, gab, and watch the game. Menu standouts include the juicy burger, slathered with homemade ketchup and stuffed in a soft, sesame-seed bun. Hot dogs hail from upstate favorite, Zweigle’s, and tortilla chips are made-to-order rather than poured from a bag. A meatball sub comes on soft, Blue Ribbon-baked cibatta, smothered in a kicky marinara and Murray’s mozzarella. And then there’s the ultimate midnight snack: Salty, crisp-from-the-fryer tater tots. Those alone warrant a visit.
