Want to see what mahogany fashioned by testosterone looks like? This is without question the most urbanely elegant steakhouse you will ever see, its meat locker filled with terrific beef. Now if they can only figure out how to get their staff up to the level of their surroundings and kitchen. The place is New York landmark potential.

My boyfriend and I passed by this restaurant after a show and decided to go in for drinks at the upstairs bar. Wow, what a beautiful, elegant restaurant! The view from the upstairs overlooking the street was pretty cool (I like how this place felt so open with so many windows). The service at the bar was outstanding - very professional and attentive. The pineapple-infused vodka martinis were incredible - well worth the price - as was the dark chocolate mousse, which was some of the best I've had. Based on my experience at the bar, I would definitely eat dinner here next time I'm in NYC.

Excellent steak, setting and service - if you like steak, youll love it

Like me youre probably unsure where you can get a great steak in NYC? I highly recommend Del Friscos. The 24oz porterhouse steak between two was the best Ive ever tasted. Waiter service and deco was also top notch. Cost wise about $60 per person incl wine, side dishes and tips. If/when I go back to NYC Ill definitely be going back for more and will more than likely have the 24oz to myself!
