Lounge at one of the DUMBO General Store's long, community tables and sip a bowl of chicken corn chowder. A steady supply of loft-dwelling artists stream in through the café's tall glass doors, pausing to appreciate the art on the wall before making their way to the counter for a good, strong latte. Fortunately for the starving (artists or otherwise), the kitchen turns out some fairly decent food, from the neatly pressed classico panini with prosciutto di Parma and mozzarella to the savory vegetarian burrito with homemade guacamole.
Recommended DishesClassico panini, $8; roasted chicken panini, $9
