Especially popular for brunch, these kid-friendly diners fill glasses with juice or milk and serve pancakes that you wish you could make at home. All three locations offer a kids' menu with hot dogs, grilled cheese, PB&J, French toast—you name it. It's worth having to fold your stroller for the dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets. — Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld

WE ORDERED BREAKFAST 2 ORDERS OF THE CRUNCHY FRENCH TOAST W/ STRAWBERRIES, A CARMINES OMELETTE, FRUIT SALAD AND 3 OJS (TOTAL $51.90)THEY ALL SOUNDED REALLY GOOD ON THE MENU BUT THE ACTUAL FOOD WAS AWFUL AND RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. THE DELIVERY MAN WAS UPSET THAT HE DIDNT GET A BIGGER TIP ALTHOUGH IT SUPPOSED TO BE FREE DELIVERY AND THEY ARE ONLY A FEW BLOCKS FROM US. WE COULD HAVE ORDERED FROM MCDONALDS AND HAD A BETTER MEAL.(DECOR IS NOT APPLICABLE WE HAD A DELIVERY)
Went to EJ's for Sunday Brunch with a group of friends. The place was extremely crowded which is what to be expected. We had a waitress who tried to hide her heavily bandaged hand with a latex glove and provided the worse service we have ever experienced. Shewas exceptionally slow, mixed up our orders and became annoyed when asked to correct them. At the end of our meal, to our horror, we say a huge roach crawl from the back of our booth. We informed the manager of our unwelcomed guest and he simply killed it and walked away. We all agreed that this would be the first and last time we patronize this establishment.
