Five years after the closing of fine-dining trailblazer Chanterelle, David Waltuck is back with a new restaurant in Gramercy. At the 60-seat spot (inside the former Veritas space), Waltuck and co-owner George Stinson will serve an à la carte menu with dishes like stuffed-potato pot stickers, chicken potpie, and duck-fat hash browns. It's certainly more casual than Chanterelleóbut there's still seafood sausageóand élan will even introduce lunch and brunch service in the coming months.Note
Brunch and lunch service to come in the near future.Recommended Dishes
General Tso's sweetbreads with leeks, orange, and chilies, $17; potato pot stickers with summer truffles, $17
