Profile

A Deco-ish backlit décor with a sensuously curving bar and a steel-faced fireplace gives this West Village hot spot an old-world speakeasy feel. Serious cocktails mixed from infusions like lavender scented gin and vermouth tinged with herbes de Provence are meant to complement dishes like oysters, a seafood salad, and a Serbian charcuterie plate.

Late Night Menu

An abbreviated menu is available nightly from midnight to 3:30 a.m. when the kitchen closes.

Employees Only is definitely known for its award-winning cocktails and aperitifs, but it also serves up some delicious meals, like orecchiette (a sausage-filled pasta). It is reasonably priced and the decor evokes a feeling of 1920's prohibition-era, because I believe the place was originally a hidden speakeasy.

Not what it used to be

Used to be a great spot for drinks and dinner. Now, service is spotty at best. Pass.
