Profile

This venue is closed.

The country's entertainment-industry glitterati make themselves right at home in I. M. Pei's monumental dining room. The kitchen combines contemporary presentation and technique with classic Provencal on one plate. The weekend bar scene puts the concept-hotel bar scene to shame.

Great room, cocktails, and brunch

The I.M. Pei room is awesome, the cocktails at the bar sublime (I adore the blue martini), the Sunday brunch elegant...only matched in the city by Aquavit. Also afternoon tea in the lobby, which uses the same kitchen, is beyond superb. But lunch and dinner aren't so hot-- pretty standard deluxe hotel food at very, very high prices.
