Like a ray of Provençal sunshine, this spacious restaurant evokes the Mediterranean with its unwavering devotion to olive oil, a featured ingredient in nearly every dish. Olives swim in it. Vegetables are marinated in it. Fresh, artfully arranged salads are dressed with it. Once you've found one you particularly like—the Moulin Baussy paired with the salmon tartine, say, or the Koroneiki that anoints the fig-and-olive salad—you can repair to the on-premise shop and buy a bottle to take home. The market-like ambience, the wicker armchairs, the Provençal rosé all conspire to create a convivial European air that attracts neighborhood suits, hospital staff, and gossiping girlfriends, all mixing much better than oil and water. — Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld

Good food, good value, pretty place, yet still something missing
We went on Saturday night and the food was quite good. The space is beautiful. The service is rushed.
The waitress kept coming up and the mains came with appetizer plates still on the table. The clientele is total B+T. Which might explain the rushed service. Would go another time but never on the weekend.
Had some crostini's which were very good and then we both had fish dishes. Well cooked, well seasoned and quite enjoyable. Wine list is reasonable but small. No go all out wines on the list but a bunch of nice drinkable stuff.
One odd thing, since both of our main dishes were cooked with figs, we really weren't in the mood for dessert. So we passed.
Plus, we really couldn't see ourselves relaxing over coffee and dessert with someone coming over to rush us out of our chairs.
All in all, we liked the food, we liked the ambiance and we laughed at the clientele.
I have been to this location 4 x (Meatpacking) I have to say the service has been on point and the food excellent!!! The staff also has been great with attention. My last visit was Easter sunday and the waiter was excellent, we ordered wine which he suggested, we were not pleased with it . He took it back and we ordered another one which was great. They did not charge us for it, Right up to the desert was great, if you like chocolate then order their mousse!!!! I have told everyone who is visiting the city to go there for Brunch I am sure dinner is just as good too!!!
