Profile

An offshoot of Hangawi, the serene Korean vegetarian restaurant, this teahouse is equipped with a tea bar; a vegetarian-Korean-fusion kitchen that incorporates green tea into the menu; and a mountain-temple-style traditional tearoom. If you manage to achieve enlightenment, you can take a little bit home with you—everything’s for sale, from the poetry-inscribed ceramic cups to the house wild green tea.

Serene atmosphere. Gracious and pleasant service. Many exquisite (and expensive) varieties of tea served in traditional korean manner. Vegetarian food, mostly featuring soy, mushrooms, and green tea (yes green tea in the food.) If you like Zen Palate but also want a meditative experience with excellent tea , you will like this place. Plus they offer a high tea ceremony. It's expensive, but not overpriced.
