Profile

Co-owner Pierluigi Palazzo named this café after the Modenese snack of crispy, puffy fried dough, usually served with prosciutto. But just to complicate matters, the gently priced menu also offers gnocchetti (an entirely different, equally delicious thing), plus well-dressed salads and an unassuming pork tenderloin lavished with Parmesan shavings and a balsamic emulsion.

i hosted a private party at gnocco and although the food was very very good there were many issues that embarrassed me as the host. I had ordered table cloths and there were none, I asked that soda be served for those not wanting san gria and was told bt Jessica it would be available and it was not served, one table never received the salad, the dessert sampling was only served to some tables and when asked that more dessert be served I was told no! and only reluctantly was the coffee served. I was very embarrassed by this service and attitude.

I've been to this place twice and have had great experiences each time. The place is best for groups of 5 or less, and the food is excellent at not such high prices. The service is mediocre and the food sometimes takes a long time, but it is definately worth it. Great Italian pizza and pasta dishes.
