Profile

This Hell's Kitchen storefront with a Southern California vibe specializes in burgers and chicken sandwiches, or churascos, in countless permutations. A blackened churasco is a couple of degrees of Cajun heat short of a call to Jacoby & Meyers, and needs only minor embellishment like blue cheese, or avocado and Monterey jack. Be sure to order yours on Sullivan Street Bakery ciabatta, and douse the flames with a malted.

Recommended Dishes

Blackened churasco, $8.25; Bourbon Street burger, $9.25; hippo burger, $9.25

The place does not stand out on the street so missed it at first pass. Really liked the atmosphere...the Janis Joplin music really gave the place a nice vibe. The service was good and the staff had the kind of Calfornia PCH laid back style. We tried the buger and the chicken...the chicken was the favorite. The Buns were wrong for the sandwiches..the place reall y does need fries. If they can't afford fryer then put in oven and make baked fries or some of signature dish....backed potato does not go with a burger. The shakes are great and worth the trip.
