Patsy Grimaldi is back under the Brooklyn Bridge, but not at Grimaldi’s. He’s at this cozier, tourist-free spot next door (the cause of some uproar, natch, from the namesake pizzeria he sold in 1998). Named after his late mother, Juliana’s is pretense-free with chalkboard menus, hardwood floors, an open kitchen, and Patsy himself working the room. And the pizza? The crust on the Margherita pie is just thin enough, just chewy enough, and just charred enough to satisfy the pickiest of pizza lovers. While it’s debatable whether this is the best pie in the borough, it’s solid, and the sauce-covered pepperoni variety is even better.Recommended Dishes
