Profile

This venue is closed.

Korea Spoon is a looker. Its tall, mirrored entryway shines like a sparkling disco ball in a neon-lit club. The interior is contemporary, but the standard Korean lineup—barbecue, noodles, soups, and the like—feels more familiar. Traditional dishes like soft tofu soup and seafood pancake (heavy on the batter, light on the seafood) don't quite reach the heights of this bi-level space, but bubbly dance tracks and pleasing presentations (the stone pot bibimbap is especially charming) even out the experience. Another perk of modern Korean dining: The second floor's tabletop grills have been fitted with powerful, understated vents that leave no trace of the meal's pungent smells on a diner's clothes.
