Catering to Midtown workers who need a quick fix for lunch or delivery for office functions, this Everyman pizza joint is simple and clean. The over-lit, narrow space has a serving counter (with pies on display) in back and bare-topped tables up front. You can get your pizza thin-crust, Sicilian, or Chicago pan pizza-style. Somehow, the plain cheese slice seems neglected: It's oily, soggy, and weighed down with gummy cheese despite sauce providing a redeeming tang. Pizza aficionados: Don't laugh—the salad pizza is surprisingly tasty. Served cold with no cheese, it's loaded with shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato slices, green peppers, olives, mushrooms, and red onion. Fresh marinara and oil and vinegar are applied lightly enough that the crust holds up well. The Chicago-style pizzas are more satisfying than the thin slices. They’re baked until golden-brown, with a satisfying crunch that goes well with the doughiness of the thick crust.
ExtraApart from pizzas and calzones, you'll find cold and hot hero menus and pasta dishes.
