Everything you wanted from a trendy club-bar-restaurant and less. Less attitude, less discomfort, less elbow contact, and less-forgettable food. Lotus is a blooming surprise. A slight kitschiness keeps it warm. Nice-guy owners keep it friendly. And the kitchen keeps you well-fed. Think of the velvet rope outside as a ribbon. This place is alright except for the manager Andreas Rizo and his staff who have no people skills. Check items into coat check at your own risk as nice things are often stolen. He is very rude and unaccomodating. BEWARE

Went the NYC for my bachelorette party. After eating at Spice Market (ew, that's a completely different story) we headed to Lotus (hungry). Amazing night-partied with guys from Denmark and had a blast! Staff was well attentive and patient (we got a lil drunk and rowdy). Would go back in a heart beat-
