I've eaten here 3 times as I live in the area. For the most part I do rather enjoy the food. Normally, I stick to the meat. The last time i went I decided to try the mussels. My husband - the tuna. Bad decision. 45 mins later i was vomiting, which continued for 14 hrs. I was so violently ill i had to be admitted to hospital where they diagnosed me with Neurotoxic Shellfish Poisoning. I have never been so violently ill in my life. My husband also suffered from food poisoning. Nothing as severe as mine, but he was still vomiting and ill for a couple of days.
Perhaps stick the meat and you might be alright.
By the way, the maître d' can drop the attitude, he only works in a restaurant for god's sake.
