Marquet delivers consistently good food and wine options at reasonable prices with relaxed, yet attentive service. The decor is nothing special, but it's the perfect place for that friend in from out of town who wants to go somewhere nice, but quiet enough so you can have a conversation and savor the meal without having to save up for it.

What a great find! While University Place is teeming with loud, cookie-cutter, student-chic establishments packed with patrons, here is a warm, welcoming, neighborhood place with excellent, exciting food. My favorite thing to do? Sit at the bar, have a meal, and chat with the great staff.
