Danny Meyer and chef Nick Anderer are the minds behind this grand pizzeria, which is located, somewhat awkwardly, in the lobby of the Redbury New York hotel. If you can get past the ambiance (or lack thereof), you’ll find plenty to like on the menu, from the simple Italian appetizers (fried squash, grilled artichokes), to the crisp-crusted pizzas (a potato-laden carbonara option is especially winning), through to the entrées that are cooked on the kitchen’s massive wood-burning grill.
