The metamorphosing meatpacking district continues to lose chilly meat lockers and gain hot new restaurants, and the name of the latest such conversion from the raw to the cooked says it all. Meet has a D.J. booth, an illuminated catwalk, ostrich-leather banquettes, coconut-wood tables, an amber onyx bar, and, according to consulting master Tin Sun, fine feng shui. The menu hits all the right contemporary notes, and next door, there is a smaller but equally luxe private dining space. — Adam Platt

Great find off the beaten Meat Packing path...

Great food in a great atmosphere. Very Feng Shui. Very relaxing and comfortable. Nice to be in the Meat Packing District, off the beaten path.

It "feels good" in there...seriously!

It could be the feng sui, or the cozy bar area in the front, but I have always felt comfortable at Meet. Haven't been when it's 'overly' crowded yet, and I've gone over a dozen times, but the crowd I have seen tends to be 'upper east side' types, from late 20's to late 40's.
