It’s a clumsy room. But just keep your head down and don’t stop eating—Bobby Flay’s mastery of the spicier things in life keeps getting more polished and exciting. Ribs, shrimp-and-corn tamale, cumin-crusted chicken, and pan-roasted rabbit are just sensational. Flay’s gonna rope you in, and leave you hog-tied and smiling.

Recommended Dishes

I went with some out of town friends that were big Bobby Flay fans. My friend went up to him and patiently waited to speak to him and ask for a picture while he was taking pictures with other patrons. He ignored us. We called after him. He ran away. He did not do this to his caucasion patrons. In fact, he introduced them to his family that was having dinner at the table next to us. The food took 30 minutes to come because he was busy with his family. It was cold. It was exactly what I expected - below par. I've been to much better places with better food. Our waiter ignored us after takin our order. He didnt even come to check if we were ok. I finally called the waiter from the table next to us and he was much more attentive. He recieved our tip.

Awful experience here. Coat check girl was slouched over- looked like I was putting her out handing in my light jacket. Hosts were clueless-looking around at each other and not nailing down when we would be sat. Eventually we were sat in a table so close to someone else I could practically hear them gulping their water. Waiter was haughty and unhelpful. Food was flavorful and decent, but hardly memorable being it was surrounded by such poor service. Manager was disinterested and made poor excuses for all the callouts. Wish the NY mag editors and Boby Flay would revisit. Poor excuse of a restaurant, esp for a celeb chef. Cost of a meal was equivalent to most in NY- I took no issue with the pricing. These days any restaurant, no matter how much an entree is, should put out the best service possible. This place clearly relies on tourists and is pretty high on itself for no reason whatsoever. Was hoping for better giving the Flay brand-complete disappointment.
