You want to eat healthy, but you’re allergic to “health food.” Not a problem at this East Village café where locally grown produce and artisan ingredients make up dishes like black-bean-and-corn quesadilla with a cherry-tomato salsa. Even the coffee is organic and shade-grown. — Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld

Ate breakfast here yesterday and was pleased with the menu's wide selections. Truly a little something for every mood and taste. For vegetarians/vegans this place is pretty exciting (but we're often pretty easy to please). The service was excellent, everything was really clean and well-maintained. Everything we ordered tasted good, loose tea was great quality. As an aside, the bathroom was extremely clean which for me is a pretty good indicator of the establishment's overall attention to cleanliness and order. Great little cafe. Go check it out and make your own decision - live a little and enjoy having a new experience ;)
obviously the prior review was not written by a vegetarian. if you are a hardcore meat-eater, this is not your place. if you are vegetarian, or even have vegetarian friends, this place is fantastic. my meat-eating friends even like it. the food is made with thought and care, portions are generous. this is my favorite place for brunch, the tofu omelette is not to be missed. I actually crave this food. clean and hearty and good for you, and even vegan, if you wish ...
it is the best. highly recommend.
