Profile

This venue is closed.

Partage, the West Village offshoot of Paradou in the meatpacking district, aims for a French-farmhouse feel with a wood-beamed ceiling, a fireplace, and a rough-hewn iron chandelier. The Provençal-inspired menu mirrors Paradou’s, with tartines, grilled sandwiches, sweet and savory crêpes, and entrées like mussels with lardons and Pernod.

The food was fabulous French Provencal mixed to NY perfection. The cheese plate was to die for, covering all the bases and coming with not only French bread but raisin bread as well-- just like maman used to make. I'll take another serving of the foie gras any day. The wine list leaves a little to be desired, but what they do have pairs well with the food. It's a shame the place isn't bigger, but the weekend maitre d', Richard, is delightful and will set a table for you in the middle of the room, should you have to wait. Take a date, take a friend. I'll be back.

You definitely want to check out Partage. The food is fantastic, nice ambiance, outdoor seating, and a great vibe. It's a good date place or cool to go with friends.
