The “park” in this pizza joint’s name isn’t Prospect, it’s J.J. Byrne, an overgrown playground where you’ll find the Revolutionary War–era Old Stone House community center and plenty of kid-populated benches. If the slices you’ve come for disappoint, with little cheese and a lifeless sauce, the baked specialties almost make up for it, notably the ravioli, ziti, manicotti, and a robust lasagna made with sweet ground beef. Dinner entrées represent the well-known families: the Marsalas, the Parmigianas, the Primaveras, and the Franceses, coupled with the usual suspects of chicken, shrimp, eggplant, and meat. A busy front area, a spacious back room with television, and some outdoor tables farther back mean your seating options are multiple, too.
