One of restaurateur Roy Liebenthal's (Pop Burger, Café Tabac) signature creations, Pop is a sleek eatery and lounge offering a friendly, unpretentious dining experience in a hip, design-savvy environment. The décor is a cut above the ubiquitous space-age hip: Pop’s walls are adorned with some of Andy Warhol's more unusual prints. The ever tasty "pops" menu, served all night, ranges from the simple (fried calamari) to the spectacular (mushroom, mascarpone and truffle oil pizza), with the mini-burgers providing a delectable, bite-size piece of cheeseburger heaven. Entree notables include the succulent roasted chicken and mashed potatoes, the flavorful lemon fettuccine with toasted garlic shrimp and spinach, and the salmon au poivre in red wine sauce. Enjoy your meal with one of the best mojitos this side of the Caribbean and top it all off with the heavenly chocolate cake, served warm with vanilla ice cream and sprinkled with powdered sugar. It will leave you happily planning your next visit back.
