Profile

Panoramic views of Times Square abound in this dimly lit, animal-print-adorned hotel lounge with a food menu from Bruce and Eric Bromberg of Blue Ribbon. Plates will be familiar to devotees of the restaurants, only here they’re about twice the price. Northern fried chicken is paprika-dusted and succulent; Manchego cheese is served grilled with Mexican honey toast, and there’s a separate section of bar bites like vegetable dumplings or mini lobster rolls. Entrées like a mild, sweet-pea ravioli are less memorable, while not-too-sweet cheesecake is a safe choice for dessert.

Blue Ribbon Classics

From the Renaissance New York, the Blue Ribbon Bros. launch their eight-item “Blue Ribbon Classics” menu for Renaissance Hotels across twenty major cities from Miami to San Francisco, and soon around the globe.

Recommended Dishes

Manchego and Mexican honey toast, $10; Northern fried chicken wings, $12; apple crisp, $10
