Now in its second location, next door to the shuttered original, the late Helen Randazzo’s famed waterfront seafood mecca maintains crowds thanks to fresh Bluepoint clams shucked in plain view and a legendary tomato-sauce recipe that covers seafood pastas and pairs with fried calamari and shrimp. A New England clam chowder that’s thick with clams and chunks of potato is also a highlight, as is the chicken parmigiana. While not the most ordered dish, the latter is one of the best, swaddled in cheese and a smoky, slightly sweet marinara sauce.
Recommended DishesShrimp cocktail, $13.95; New England clam chowder, $5; chicken parmigiana, $14.95
