Is this an age of comfort-food specialists or what? This hyper-designed Nolita storefront’s specialty is rice pudding, and it’s available in twenty-one flavors by the cup or the 80-ounce container. Plain vanilla is for purists; pineapple-basil is for thrill-seekers. — Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld

I always liked rice pudding but this was probably the best I have ever had. I had the Mascarpone with cherries. 10 times more tasty than Pinkberry a couple doors down would have been. The decor is a little cheesy and all the signs about "forget your diet, etc." you can do without but the rice pudding was super tasty
We walked into this place on our way to Lombardi's for pizza, and what a pleasant surprise! Over the course of two visits (we had to come back before leaving the city), we probably had the countergirls let us sample every flavour they had, my hands-down favourite being the cross-country cheesecake (or something like that - the point is, it had cheescake in it, and tasted mighty fine). Sure the packaging is plastic, but as long as you re-use the things (they're microwaveable), you can alleviate some personal guilt, plus I think they're well-designed and cool-looking (especially the spoon/paddle that fits into the lid), to boot. A bit pricey for rice pudding, but you get a whole lot, even with the solo size. It's a fun, bright space inside and the staff is very friendly.
