Last week the Guggenheim got a restaurant, and today it's the Museum of Arts & Design's turn. Robert, named for legendary party-planner Robert Isabell, who died earlier this year, offers views of Columbus Circle and may be the first restaurant that boasts a video-art installation, a "sound wave" at the communal table, and two lighting installations. The food contemporary American fare with Mediterranean influences will be prepared by Union Prime alum Brady Duhane. The restaurant will be open for lunch, tea, and dinner, as well as late-night cocktails.
