When a Caribbean joint foundered on this site, the Japanese restaurant next door filled the breach with this colorful, always crowded sake bar. Clusters of candles burn in wall alcoves, and a selection of sakes is served by the glass, wooden box, carafe, or bottle. To nibble, there’s a limited menu of sushi and sashimi, and Asian bar snacks like rice crackers and edamame.
