Shih and Skin Lee, Taiwanese-American siblings whose parents own a Chinese place near the U.N, opened this sleekly modern eatery and bar in a new condo tower beside Long Island City’s Pepsi-Cola sign. The menu at this affordable spot is familiar; A Hong Kong-trained chef also schooled in Vietnamese and Thai cuisine prepares Pan-Asian fare such as peppery, deep-fried “popcorn beef,” stir-fried chicken moo goo gai pan, and Thai seafood tom yum soup fierce with lemongrass and chili. Sushi creations are pleasant but indistinct.
Recommended DishesSeafood tom yum soup for two, $12; popcorn beef, $14; spicy basil beef, $13
