Rufino Lopez's classic has been New York's finest Spanish for years, and the tradition continues under chef Danilo Paulino. The sunny, airy space presents an ideal backdrop for a light meal of tapas or a full tour through Paulino's strongly flavored interpretations of Spanish regional dishes: rabbit with snails a la Catalana, grilled leek-wrapped salmon, and, of course, paella. Solera has an incredible selection of Spanish wines, especially sherries, and Lopez has engineered intelligent by-the-glass pairings for each dish.
