The menu reads, "You'll have to try our cuisine proven by experts." We're not experts, but we agree that you should order The Sultan's spicy, creative food, which involves a lot of yogurt, lamb, and phyllo dough. We admire greatly the sigara boregi (fried phyllo tubes packed with spiced feta), the tarama (Turkey's version of taramasalata), and the manti, which are best described as spicy, slippery, messy, delicious ravioli. Plus, we love the loads of hearty flatbread, perfect for mopping up all the dips and sauces.Recommended Dishes
Sigara boregi, $4.95; tarama, $5.95; mezetabagi, $10.95; hunkar begendi, $13.95
