Trendy vegetarians have it tough in this town: There aren't many meatless places immune from that throwback earthy-crunchy vibe. To the rescue comes techno-pop star Moby, who co-opened (then sold) this tea room and café where the breakfast-to-late-night menu features “teany bagels” with melted Cheddar and faux Canadian bacon and vegan vanilla-bean strawberry shortcake. — Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld

I have honestly never experienced such rude customer serivce in NYC. I went in to buy tea, and when I asked where I could find the teas, the person leaning behind the counter just pointed, no comment. When I finished picking out the teas myself (as if there would be some helpful person or even descriptions of what I was purchasing), I asked where I could pay. Another person, with her back to me (she hadn't turned around for the first few minutes I stood behind her waiting to be helped) literally snapped at me "Here, but you have to wait". I will never go back and will also make sure to tell anyone interested not to go as well!
We decided to try this tea house but to our dissapointment it was horrible. The service was horrible and the waiter ignored us and was not very nice to us. We were served tea with a dry "flower" on the side as if we were supposed to know what to do with the flower when our pot was already filled with the tea. Our bagel was also not very tasty. I dont think i will be visiting any time soon. I d rather make my own cup of tea at home.
