This shack right off Main Street in Sag Harbor comes by its name honestly the tiny dock house serves ridiculously fresh seafood with a view of mega yachts bobbing in the harbor yards away. With four old barrels for tables and a long counter that seats about six, space is limited, so you may opt to take your bounty in its biodegradable tray out to a bench on Long Warf or to the park across the street. Most of the fried or grilled fish platters are also available raw by the pound, as are the lobsters (which swim an in old claw-foot tub in a corner as if they are too good for a standard tank). The chalkboard lists the catches of the day and daily price of the house specialty cold-cracked lobster as well as local oysters and clams.

Wine and Warf

There’s no explicit BYOB policy, but many folks stop at nearby Channing Daughters or Wölffer vineyards to grab a bottle of rosé to go with their cold-cracked lobster lunch. Make sure to bring a wine key and glasses.
