Profile

A large, horseshoe-shaped bar is the centerpiece of this Brooklyn spot, the sister restaurant to Manhattan’s Whiskey Tavern and Whiskey Town. There are also nine large flat screens, two shuffleboard tables, and an arcade room complete with Buck Hunter, ski-ball, quick-shoot basketball and a photo booth. The subterranean space is dimly lit with only a few windows, with drinks ranging from house light and dark draft beers to pickle-back shots. Appetizer options are nearly endless, from wings, buffalo chicken nuggets, humongous nachos covered with cheesy beans, jalapenos, tomatoes and lettuce, and the highly-addictive fried pickles. Generously topped pizzas are large enough to share, as is the three-piece plate of tacos, double-wrapped with plenty of spicy green sauce on top. Large sandwiches, like buffalo chicken with bleu cheese, cheesesteak with fried onions, or a bacon cheeseburger, round out the mix.

Recommended Dishes

Fried pickles, $5; pork tacos, three for $8
