The lowdown
The diminutive Chelsea tapas destination has lost much of its luster since the fabled tapas duo who opened it years ago, Alex Raij and her husband, Eder Montero, flew the coop after a dispute with their partners. But the classic, Basque-accented, small-plates menu still endures more or less as they left it (creamy potato croquettes, skewers of lamb marinated in garlic, endless varieties of cod); and so does the snug little room, which has the worn feel of a favorite neighborhood bar instead of a first-class tapas destination.
