In a neighborhood filled with Asian eateries, this small Tibetan joint is often overlooked—and what a shame that is. Try their original lamb curry or the Himalayan potatoes and black-eyed peas, a cold dish served with either beef or tofu. Traditional steamed Sha Momo beef dumplings or Tse Momo vegetable dumplings are soft and juicy and dressed up in a spicy sauce. You can even order in a cup of authentic churned, salted Tibetan tea, which arrives safely wrapped in a plastic bag.
Recommended DishesLamb Curry, $10.95; Himalayan Potatoes and Black-Eyed Peas with Beef, $8.25; Sha Momo Beef Dumplings, $7.95; Tse Momo Vegetable Dumplings, $7.50
