Famous for its signature open ravioli of lobster and mushrooms, the menu also offers an across-the-board selection of regional Italian specialties. The dining room is decorated with Italian cinema stills, and single-minded connoisseurs as well as private parties can pursue their respective passions in the wine room or the grappa room. — Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld

My husband & I celebrated our "first" wedding anniversary over dinner here although, I had once taken him to dine at this restaurant for his birthday before another Broadway Musical. A birthday tradition I created years ago. His experience was horrible the first time while mine was great! To my surprise he wanted to try it again. At first I was hesitant but, I gave in and we both had a "very" pleasant experience the second time around. The margarita's on the rocks where amazing and the food Delicious, fresh & hot which I crave for when dinning out. We where very pleased. I highly recommend the Seafood Rissoto.
Had calamari without the marinara and it was incredible. All courses were better than the next. Food was hot when it hit the table. Waiter was indifferent and just did his job. Personality was not his long suit. But we weren't there for his entertainment. Bottom line, for NY, reasonably priced for excellent Italian food. Clearly one of the best I've had in the city in a long time. Several beautiful rooms in which to dine.
