After short-lived but attention-getting stints at Local and Capitale, Franklin Becker reemerges just off the Tribeca Grand Hotel's Church Lounge lobby, in what used to be the Sanctum lounge. Seasonal touches abound on the Asian-inflected American menu and assorted bonbons by New York's top artisanal chocolatiers pop up here and there.

I stumbled upon this restaurant accidentally. I was meeting my girl friends at the church lounge and we had a few drinks and then wanted to go and eat dinner to catch up. We were going to stay and eat in the lounge but then we were handed the Trinity menu. I just had to try the scallops and pork belly and the blue fin tuna sashimi, it sounded great. We walked into this beautiful room and were literally transported. What an incredible meal. I don't think I've eaten that good since going to Guy Savoy. The amuse, the appetizers, the entrees and the desserts, nothing failed to impress. I can not wait to tell all my friends about it, let alone go back. Absolutely the best meal in N.Y.C. !!!
Trinity was a treat. The service was impeccable and Chef Franklin Becker a true artist. He was personable and wanted to be sure we were having a great dining experience. The sea bass was incredible, cooked to flavorful perfection. My husband enjoyed his slow cooked salmon. The gremouille (?) of vegetables was a highlight. 36 different vegetables! The carpaccio of mango & avocado dessert was heavenly. I'll be dreaming about that until the next time we go back which will be sooner than later!
