Profile

Both Wai? Cafe locations offer great bangs for your buck with generous portions of healthy dishes at skimpy prices. While the food won't inspire culinary ecstasies, it is solid and, at times, even inspired. What's more, the menu is large and diverse: French, Asian and Italian cuisines are all competently represented, if not authentically. This is satisfying food—the portions are hearty without being overwhelming, and the flavorings in dishes like the hummus and the rosemary chicken salad are robust enough to make you feel as though you've eaten more than you have. The only downside to Wai? is that both restaurants fade demurely into their surroundings, making them easy to miss. But if an aversion to trendiness ensures that the prices remain the same, that's hardly a tragedy.

Ugh. Worst food i've had in New York in a while. I ordered the steamed veggie dumplings which were tough, hard to chew, and worst of all, had a gross human HAIR in them. I also got the hummus, which tasted pasty and like they were made from a box. Save your money, there are plenty of other options of places to eat in this price range.
