Profile

This romantic spot overlooking the East River is a favorite for formal affairs, but even your average demanding New York diner would be happy with the American menu and the yacht-club setting. There's a heavy emphasis on seafood like lobster and soft-shell crabs, and a massive Sunday brunch. Jackets suggested.

Brunch

Sun., 11 a.m.—3 p.m.

Weddings
Spring and summer fêtes here are often held on the outside deck with the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop. Cold-weather weddings are held indoors on the upper deck (which seats up to 80 for dinner) or in the River Room (which seats up to 200 for dinner and has space for dancing). Prices start at $165 per person.

Yikes I have had better steak at Outback. The presentation was like at a diner-only worst. The salad was dripping in dressing, with canned tomato. There are a hugh number of wait staff but all they did was to stand around and do nothing. The chairs were small bamboo and incrediably uncomfortable. If you weigh over 100 you won't fit !!! My final recommendation - DON"T GO.

Great Time

All I can say about this place is WOW what a great restaurant. The food was delightful. The service was good. I highly recommend this restaurant. The only thing I had a problem with is I had requested a window table for the romance of the evening due in part that it was my wedding anniversary. To my dismay we had to sit in a booth but I think that one negative out of many positives is just fine I guess that is the way they will bring us back. Also for all of you out of towner’s directions to this restaurant are kind of bad make sure you call a head and get them from the restaurant it can get a little tricky but over all I give the water club an over all score of 9.5
