This small kosher spot serves up monster-size plates of food to suit a mixed bag of cravings. Penne vodka, Jamaican jerk salmon, and Greek salad are just some of the globally minded dishes dotting the vegetarian-leaning menu. If you don’t mind the noise level (very loud) and the service (very slow), the quality of the dishes warrants repeat visits. The restaurant's signature dish, the healthy plate, is a virtually infinite bowl of sea vegetables, beans, brown rice, and steamed veggies, plus a side of soup generous enough to be its own meal. Try the surprisingly light split pea. As expected, sandwiches and pastas are equally robust, like a satisfyingly sweet-and-salty tuna-salad wrap stuffed with pickles, and rich, browned-to-perfection macaroni and cheese.
